For Citizenship, Immigration, Appeals and Refugee Matters, Active Professionals charge a minimum of $50.00 Cdn. plus GST for face to face or telephone consultations limited to ½ hour or $90.00 per hour plus GST for longer consultations. This consultation fee is transferable toward your retainer fee if you retain our full services within 6 weeks to represent your case.

The first meeting is necessary to give us a chance to properly assess the specifics of your case. This initial consultation ensures that you avoid paying a non-refundable application-processing fee if you do not meet the criteria established by the authorities.  There is no obligation to retain our services until we are both comfortable about working together. When you decide to retain our services, we will draft the retainer agreement in plain and simple language. Our fees are on a pre-arranged flat fee basis. This allows our clients to accurately budget their expenses with no unexpected costs.  Both parties will only sign the agreement, after they have read and understood it fully. It is our strict policy to have a written retainer agreement for every file we represent from our office.
